Anand Mohan Murthy - Managing Partner
Anand is a law graduate from Osmania University, Hyderabad, having passed out and enrolled with the then A.P Bar Council in the year 2006. While he was pursuing his final year law, he also took up a Post Graduation Diploma in Cyber Laws from NALSAR, Hyderabad and aced it, topping the University.
In his 18+ years of practice, he was one of the youngest legal professionals to become Head Legal at Ocean Sparkle Limited, India’s Largest Port Management Company (acquired by Adani Ports SEZ) and moved on to being Group Head Legal at Ramky Group, a multi-disciplinary organization in the business of Infrastructure, Waste Management, Real Estate & Pharma.
Upon ending his corporate stint, he joined his father’s firm Mohan & Co. Advocates as Partner, where he headed and scaled the corporate practice. His diverse and specialized experience in Corporate and Litigation, lead to the foundation of AMM Law Offices in 2023.
Sandhya Nagavarpu - Partner (Risk & Compliance)
Sandhya is a Chartered Accountant with over 13 years of post-qualification experience, specializes in forensic and fraud investigations, with a focus on anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC) initiatives. Having worked with prestigious organizations such as KPMG, Ernst & Young, and Amazon, Sandhya has led numerous proactive and reactive fraud investigation assignments across diverse sectors including pharma, telecom, sports, treasury, retail, and hospitality.
Notably, she spearheaded the Continuous Control and Monitoring Operations Team at Amazon, where she identified fraud patterns in employee expense reimbursements, leading to the recovery of millions of dollars in fraudulent expenses and earning the TERA-ffic Needle Mover Award in 2021.
Additionally, Sandhya has extensive experience in conducting ABAC policy reviews, FCPA and UKBA assessments, and whistleblower investigations. Her expertise in planning and executing fraud investigations, conducting data analysis, identifying issues, defining root causes and implementing effective solutions make her a trusted advisor in identifying and mitigating financial and fraud risks.
Adnan Mohammed - Litigation Specialist
Adnan completed his BA.LLB from Osmania University in 2006 and was an award-winning meritorious student throughout his legal education. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Law of Torts & Crimes from Osmania University.
Adnan is one of the finest litigation lawyers in Hyderabad, having established himself with an untiring practice of over 17 years in various Courts of the Country.
At a very young age he started his legal grooming with his highly achieved father Mr. Mohd Osman Shaheed, who is a renowned Senior Advocate with over 50 years in practice and he has also authored many books on Muslim Personal Laws. His father was also the Addl. Public Prosecutor at the joint Andhra Telangana High Court.
Adnan’s primary practice areas include Civil, Criminal, Constitutional, IBC, Revenue, Family Law & Succession matters. He has represented various clients in many critical cases, which have become landmarks judicial precedents. Adnan has also been dealing with the cases concerning the Nizams Property and their inheritance.
Jyothi Das - POSH Specialist
After her B.A.LL.B from Osmania University in 2006, Jyoti procured her Masters in Law degree from Queen Mary, University of London in 2008. She also holds Post Graduate Diplomas in Intellectual Property Rights from NLSUI (Bangalore) (2005) and Alternate Dispute Resolution from ICADR-NALSAR (Hyderabad) (2007)
Jyoti Das is a Hyderabad based Lawyer, practicing for over 13 years. She has earned a reputation as an External Member on Internal Committees (IC) of various IT and MNCs, including the Big 4s, under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 (“POSH”)
She is a certified External Member on the POSH – Internal Committees from the Labour Laws Department.
